Epsilon Upsilon Sigma was Charted December 29, 1975 by brothers Mcfadden, Laird, Nichols, Smith and Bills to serve the western suburbs of the Chicagoland area concentrating on Oak Brook, Joliet, Naperville and Aurora. The Chapter is comprised of a diverse group of brothers who have come together to advance the common ideals of the chapter and fraternity: Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service. In these principles, the chapter finds its program’s core mission as well as a compass for its work in the community and a guide for growth.
As the chapter has recently gone through a new and exciting transition, it finds the opportunities and means in which it can affect the community limitless and humbling. Brothers of Epsilon Upsilon Sigma pride themselves on the fraternity’s ideals of inclusion, welcoming new and returning brothers from across the great state of Illinois, as well as the southern and western regions to aid in service to its western communities. This model has demonstrated to provide the chapter an unparalleled network to further increase the name of Sigma and assist those who struggle to assist themselves.
Epsilon Upsilon Sigma remains focused on our mission of community involvement at all levels and allows our Fraternal motto to guide our actions.
